ARLINGTON, VA – American Police Officers Alliance issued the following statement on the commemoration of Police Officers Memorial Month:
“Police Officers Memorial Month is a somber month for law enforcement. All officers across the nation continue to put their lives on the line to protect the American way of life. We should honor the sacrifice made by these officers who have died in the line of duty, and at the same thank the countless individuals who serve their communities every day and uphold their duty to enforce the law,”- Daniel D. Stuebs, Executive Director- American Police Officers Alliance
“With May being Police Officer Memorial Month, it gives Americans an opportunity to reflect on the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice. Each and every day, these law enforcement professionals go into to work not knowing if today will be there last. On behalf of the American Police Officers Alliance, we would like to let all law enforcement know they are appreciated. We ask all Americans to take time out to remember those men and women who tragically lost their lives in the line of duty. So while you are out enjoying the month of May, take time to remember those who keep your community safe and remember the fallen.”- Ryan Meyer, Board President- American Police Officers Alliance.
